Job summary

Target is hiring a Specialty Sales Team Leader in-store in the United States. You will guide a team across departments, manage daily workloads, and ensure top‑notch guest service with strong merchandising and store ops. You will recruit, coach and develop consultants while meeting sales goals.

Ideal candidates have 18+, a high school diploma, and prior retail experience. You will work a flexible, full‑time schedule with varying shifts and seasonal needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Lead and hold others accountable.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Effective communication skills.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Ensures every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments.
• Actively observes and provides feedback, holding team members accountable.
• Reviews area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities and drive results.
• Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices and on-boarding new team members.
• Assign daily tasks to team members based on workload and traffic patterns.
