Job summary

Willie’s Grill & Ice House in Katy, Texas, is hiring a highly skilled server. In this role you will deliver guest-first service, know the menu, and work with a lively, family-friendly team in a Texas Icehouse atmosphere.

You will take and deliver orders, ensure safety and sanitation, assist teammates, and maintain a clean workstation. Qualifications include 6 months to 2 years of experience, alcohol certification, a food handler certificate, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years of related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Required Alcohol Certification and Food Handler’s Certificate.
• Strong communication skills and basic math ability.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, timely, and “Guest First” service to ensure every guest feels welcome.
• Know the menu thoroughly including wines, beers, and cocktails to confidently answer questions and make recommendations.
• Take and deliver accurate food and beverage orders, following all safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist fellow team members to create a cooperative and positive work environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and dining area.
• Handle payments accurately and follow cash handling procedures.
• Adhere to company policies, grooming standards, and alcohol service regulations.
