Job summary

IHOP in Charlotte, NC is seeking a friendly and capable Server who can multis task, greet guests, seat them, and take and deliver orders with a smile. You’ll help guests choose menu items and ensure timely service while maintaining cash and card transactions.

The ideal candidate will work well in a team, communicate clearly, handle money responsibly, and be flexible to work shifts. Prior serving experience is a plus, and extensive training and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a server is a plus.
• Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, seat them, and escort them as needed.
• Take and deliver orders, and communicate details to the kitchen staff.
• Provide menu recommendations and upsell when appropriate.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely fashion.
• Handle checks and collect payments.
• Maintain clean and inviting dining areas.
• Provide exceptional customer experience.
