Job summary

IHOP is seeking a friendly server to deliver a high-quality dining experience in a fast-paced environment. You will build professional relationships with guests and team members, take orders accurately, and ensure guests are satisfied with their dining experience.

Responsibilities include handling payments, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Flexible hours and extensive training are provided to help you grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and strong communication are essential.
• Experience handling money transactions is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly in a busy environment.
• Flexible and able to work in shifts.
• Must maintain an active WA food handler permit.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with IHOP Team Members and guests.
• Execute service standards to ensure a high-quality guest experience.
• Handle guest complaints promptly and invite guests to return.
• Communicate guest orders and service requests accurately and promptly.
• Memorize IHOP terminology, abbreviations, methodologies, and plating knowledge.
• Comply with SOP methods for guest checks and cash control.
• Stock and rotate supplies in service areas and dining room.
• Follow IHOP safety, sanitation and health guidelines.
• Clear and reset tables after guests leave and perform cleaning duties.
• Comply with IHOP uniform and appearance standards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
