Job summary

40North Group is hiring a friendly and experienced Server to join our dynamic team at the Morristown location. You will greet guests, take orders, and input them into the POS system while delivering meals and beverages efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous server experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Take food and drink orders and accurately input them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure guests have everything they need during their meal, including refills and special requests.
• Upsell menu items and make recommendations based on guests' preferences.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including clearing and resetting tables.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience.
