40North Restaurants in Morristown, NJ is hiring a friendly, customer-focused server to greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with timely, accurate service.

You will upsell menu items, coordinate with kitchen and bar staff, and maintain a clean, organized dining area while following safety and health guidelines. Previous server experience is preferred but not required; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner
• Take food and drink orders and accurately input them into the POS system
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure guests have everything they need during their meal, including refills and special requests
• Upsell menu items and make recommendations based on guests' preferences
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including clearing and resetting tables
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience
