Golden Nugget Biloxi is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to safeguard guests, team members, and assets while delivering courteous service. Responsibilities include patrolling property, enforcing gaming regulations, and providing first aid when needed.

You must be 21+, able to lift 25 pounds, and ready to work nights and weekends in a dynamic hospitality environment. This role emphasizes integrity, sound judgment, and teamwork, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security or law enforcement experience preferred.
• American Red Cross or equivalent First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Must be able to obtain any gaming license required.
• Minimum age 21.
• Team player with a guest-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and welfare for guests and employees.
• Maintain order and peace on the property.
• Conduct area-based security patrols.
• Deliver courteous, professional guest service.
• Exercise good judgment in problem solving and resolving issues.
• Provide First Aid/CPR when necessary.
• Uphold gaming regulations and company policies.
• Read and analyze security reports daily.
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports when required.
• Monitor incidents leading to loss and determine loss sources.
• Work flexible schedules including nights and weekends.
• Display professional conduct and integrity.
• Stand or walk for long periods.
• Perform other duties as requested by Supervisors/Managers.
• May perform legal detentions where lawful.
