Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to bring warmth, care and joy to every guest interaction at our bakery-cafe. You will greet guests, assemble fresh items with care, and help keep the space inviting and clean.

We welcome individuals aged 16+, with opportunities to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training for Food Handler’s Card may be provided as required by law, with competitive pay and team perks described in store.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Clear verbal communication with guests, managers, and team members
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Handler’s Card or training as required by law
• Food service experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm
• Prepare and assemble salads, soups, and sandwiches with care
• Assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment following food safety standards
• Support team by completing cleaning and stocking duties and helping set up the next shift
