Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to be the heart of hospitality. You will greet guests, assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care, and support production, prep, service, and drive-thru teams. You help create warm, welcoming experiences in a fast-paced bakery-cafe environment.

You must be at least 16, able to lift up to 25 lbs, and stand for extended periods. Food Handler's Card is required by law; food service experience is a plus.

• Clear communication with guests, managers, and team in a loud environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for making guests smile.
• Passion for creating moments of comfort, connection, and joy for every guest.
• Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler's Card required by law; food service experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Execute duties in production, prep, service, cashier, expo, drive-thru, barista, and guest experience roles.
• Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care and efficiency.
• Assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment following food safety standards.
• Stay informed about daily priorities and adapt to changes with a positive attitude.
• Support team by completing cleaning and stocking duties and assisting the next shift.
