Dutch Wonderland Inn in Lancaster, PA is seeking a part-time Houseperson to keep guest rooms impeccably clean and welcoming. You’ll respond to guest requests, replenish linens, and report maintenance issues, following brand standards and safety protocols.

No formal education required; 18+; able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; reliable transportation; strong customer service, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team in an indoor lodging setting.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from shifts.
• Ability to comply with uniform policies.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive, professional demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to notice items and areas needing attention.
• Ability to follow directions, multi-task, work in a team or independently.

Responsabilidades

• Provide exceptional guest service by treating all guests with courtesy and a smile.
• Respond to guest requests by delivering items in a timely manner.
• Remove old linens and replenish with clean linens per room.
• Make beds as per brand standards.
• Remove trash and replace with clean bags.
• Monitor toiletries and replace as needed.
• Dust and polish fixtures and surfaces.
• Ensure windows and mirrors are clean with no residue.
• Report damages or safety hazards to maintenance or lodging leadership.
• Handle dirty linens to designated laundry area.
• Vacuum and sweep floors in each room.
• Clean and sanitize showers, toilets, sinks, counters.
• Empty contents from refrigerators if applicable.
• Maintain cart and bumpers to avoid damage to walls/doors.
• Properly handle, label, stock and store cleaning chemicals.
• Protect guest belongings; turn in lost and found items promptly.
• Report room status and maintenance issues promptly.
• Clean and disinfect public hotel areas as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Perform any other duties assigned by leadership.
