Job summary

The Melt is opening a new restaurant in Monterey Park, CA, and is seeking Crew Members to welcome guests and deliver fast, friendly service. You will learn the menu, assist guests with questions, and help ensure accuracy of orders while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.

This role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility for shifts, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. No prior experience required, but food service background is a plus.

Qualifications

• MUST BE HAPPY & at least 16 years old to apply.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including peak sales times, opening shifts, closing shifts, and weekends.
• Prior experience not required but helps if you've worked in a restaurant, deli, café, fast food, coffee, retail or customer service.
• Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Must be able to lift between 25-50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming every guest with a smile and delivering fast, friendly, accurate service.
• Answering guest questions related to the menu and suggesting items to increase guest satisfaction.
• Maintaining knowledge of Melt programs and technology (Thanx, Kiosk, Online Ordering).
• Following Melt recipes and ensuring order accuracy and timely delivery.
• Supporting cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and stations.
