Job summary

Plazahotelelpaso is seeking a Food Runner to support the restaurant team with timely service, replenishment, and guest satisfaction. The role emphasizes maintaining cleanliness and ensuring smooth dining operations.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, stocking stations, handling beverage areas, and collaborating with the Restaurant Manager to meet service standards while standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food service environment is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules; including holidays, weekends, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon entry with a warm and welcoming manner.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of dining areas.
• Serve and replenish food items and ensure timely delivery to tables.
• Assist guests with transactions and operate the register as needed.
• Stock condiments and utensils in beverage and service areas.
• Know menu pricing, item locations, and daily specials.
• Operate front-line equipment and assist in opening/closing duties.
• Exhibit a can-do attitude and cooperate with team to resolve issues.
