Job summary

SA Hospitality Group is seeking a restaurant team member to deliver food from kitchen to dining room and to assist with opening and closing duties. You will ensure plates are clean, tables cleared, and you maintain a professional demeanor with staff and guests.

The role requires basic food handling skills, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced service environment, with English as the primary communication mode.

Qualifications

• The ability to work as part of a team, work quickly and follow directions.
• Very basic food handling, preparation, and cleaning skills are welcomed.
• Time management and ability to work under pressure to manage high volume of production.
• Ability to communicate and understand direction in English to ensure safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the food from the kitchen to the dining room.
• Clean and wipe down all plates from sauces prior to picking them up from the expo line.
• Routinely clear tables off dirty plates and bring them back to the dishwashing breakdown area.
• Complete assigned opening and closing duties before and after service.
• May assist with other duties as assigned by management.
• Follow opening and closing procedures before and after the service.
• Maintain professional demeanor with all staff.
• Assist staff with any aspect of service steps to satisfy the guests.
