Job summary

Colony Grill is seeking cheerful bartenders to join our hospitality team and deliver our signature menu with exceptional service. You will coordinate lounge/bar operations, assist guests, and collaborate with front- and back-of-house staff to create a welcoming dining experience.

You must be at least 18, present a professional appearance, and manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and speed during shifts that can last up to 10 hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, climb stairs, and carry objects such as glass racks and ice bins weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to keep up a steady pace of service at the bar for shifts of up to 10 hours.
• Ability to be 100% accurate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee lounge & bar from beginning to end of shift.
• Maintain knowledge of all food & beverage items and inform customers about preparation, contents, portions and prices; make recommendations.
• Navigate the POS system to enter orders and manage tabs.
• Enter orders correctly and update guests' tabs after delivery.
• Confirm daily menu items and any changes.
• Maintain responsibility for a cash drawer during the shift.
• Provide exceptional guest service, anticipate needs, and handle complaints with the manager when needed.
• Observe liquor laws and ensure responsible service.
