Job summary

Inn of the Mountain Gods in Mescalero, NM is seeking a Bartender to provide prompt, friendly, and professional service to guests while maintaining and stocking bar supplies.

The role requires knowledge of cocktail terminology, adherence to sanitation standards, and ability to handle POS operations and cash transactions. You will work shifts including evenings and weekends and support event services as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cocktail and drink terminology and preparations.
• Obtains and maintains Alcohol Servers License.

Responsibilities

• Ability to explain and demonstrate hospitality behaviors and performance standards.
• Provide guests with directions or other venue information. Act upon all comments/complaints in a prompt, professional and friendly manner.
• Performs all shift opening and closing checklist duties.
• Adheres to quality and sanitation standards.
• Is responsible for all basic bar financial control policies including revenue controls such as POS data entry and closing, beverage pouring and dispensing policies, cash and credit card handling procedures and the security of all IMGR&C inventories and assets.
