Job summary

Bear Creek is seeking a Tubing Operator to provide a safe, enjoyable lift experience for guests on the conveyor belt. You will greet guests, explain facilities and tubing rules, and help manage loading, RFID processing, and daily opening/closing procedures.

Responsibilities include operating the conveyor, maintaining the loading area, coordinating with supervision, and responding quickly to emergencies while working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Guest service experience preferred.
• Availability during peak operating times, i.e.: weekends, holidays and special events.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, enjoyable and efficient experience for guests on the conveyor belt.
• Greet the guests, anticipate their needs and provide information about facilities and services.
• Provide guests with rules for tube park.
• Create an environment of enjoyment while guests wait.
• Observe tubers, give verbal and nonverbal commands as needed.
• Set up and tear down of tubing; daily opening and closing procedures.
• Operate conveyor belt.
• Responsible for guests going through the RFID.
• Maintain the carpet decks.
• Snow removal from loading area.
• Knowledgeable of tubing requirements including evacuation procedures in case of an emergency.
• Safe and orderly loading and unloading of the conveyor belt.
• Monitor the equipment to ensure proper operation and report issues.
