Job summary

Church’s Chicken in Compton, CA is seeking a Team Member for a part-time, non-exempt role in Operations. You will provide friendly, accurate service while upholding food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards to create a welcoming guest experience.

Responsibilities include using the POS to record orders and collect payments, explaining menu items to guests, and supporting daily restaurant operations with a cheerful, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Food Handler Certification may be required based on local regulations.
• Ability to travel to the assigned restaurant location.
• Ability to stand and walk for 95–100% of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift/carry items up to 50 pounds, per industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Delivers effective results in quality, guest service, safety, security, cleanliness and product preparation.
• Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner.
• Demonstrates understanding of menu items and can explain them to guests accurately.
• Use POS system/cash register to record orders and collect payment from guests.
• Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards.
• Follow all Company operation policies and procedures.
• Make recommendations to enhance restaurant operations.
• Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Cleans and maintains all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
