Job summary

Target East Hanover, NJ is seeking a Service and Engagement Team Leader. You will lead hourly teammates and drive guest experiences, oversee daily operations, and support store loyalty programs to engage customers.

The role requires strong communication, customer focus, and the ability to supervise diverse teams while upholding safety and compliance standards. A high school diploma is required; retail experience is a plus. Flexibility in schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments consistently.
• Ensure team understands and delivers Target's guest experience commitments.
• Actively observe and provide feedback, coaching team members.
• Review area metrics and outcomes to identify opportunities and improve.
• Lead a team of Guest Advocates and Front of Store Attendants.
• Develop team through coaching, onboarding and training.
• Understand sales goals and plan daily/weekly workload.
• Support loyalty programs to educate and promote benefits.
• Address guest concerns and escalate when needed.
