The Hobbled Horse, on the Wavetronix campus in Springville, Utah, is seeking a Guest Experience Supervisor (Pub Steward) to lead front-of-house operations. This hands-on role shapes our service culture, supports daily operations, and creates a welcoming atmosphere for guests and team members.

You will manage opening and closing procedures, coordinate with the kitchen, mentor staff, and help hire, onboard, and develop talent.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hospitality, restaurant, café, hotel, or food service experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events.
• Food Handler Permit (or ability to obtain).

Responsabilités

The Hobbled Horse is seeking a Guest Experience Supervisor (Internal title: Pub Steward) to lead front-of-house operations at our new Old English-style dry pub at the Wavetronix campus in Springville, Utah. This hands-on leadership role will help establish the service culture, support daily operations, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, employees, and the surrounding community. As part of our opening team, you'll have the opportunity to help build something special from day one.

A Successful Pub Steward Will:

Beverage Program Development

• Design, create, and maintain a unique menu of non-alcoholic specialty beverages, mocktails, and house-made drinks
• Develop seasonal and signature beverage offerings that complement the food menu and pub atmosphere
• Ensure consistent preparation, presentation, and quality of all beverage offerings
• Source ingredients and manage beverage-related inventory and costs

Hospitality & Guest Experience

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional guest experience
• Build relationships that drive repeat business and community connections
• Deliver outstanding food and beverage service
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care
• Support events, meetings, and special programs

Operations & Service Excellence

• Lead daily opening, service, and closing procedures
• Ensure food and drinks are delivered accurately, efficiently, and consistently
• Partner closely with the kitchen team to create a seamless guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
• Manage front-of-house inventory and supplies

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and support front-of-house team members
• Train employees on service standards and hospitality expectations
• Help with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and employee development
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

Role Requirements

• 5+ years of hospitality, restaurant, café, hotel, or food service experience
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Passion for hospitality and guest service
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events
• Food Handler Permit (or ability to obtain)

• Learn The Hobbled Horse service philosophy and operations
• Build relationships with guests and teammates
• Support daily operations and establish service standards
• Gain confidence leading shifts and events

• Successfully lead front-of-house operations
