Job summary

San Diego Zoo Safari Park is seeking a Guest Services Supervisor to manage day-to-day guest services operations and drive exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

You will coach staff, lead hiring and training, schedule a focused team, and act as Duty Manager as needed, while aligning with safety standards and service goals. A background in administration and tourism is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication (verbal and written) and public speaking skills.
• Ability to manage internal and external customer interactions with tact and diplomacy.
• Able to operate moderately complex computer software programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day guest services operations to ensure high guest service levels and staff engagement.
• Coach staff, monitor performance, and schedule staff to support park operations.
• Lead hiring and training, set optimal staffing levels for guest experience within budget.
• Act as Duty Manager when assigned and address guest issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist in developing, improving, and implementing guest services policies and procedures.
• Support departmental budgeting and monthly forecasting for year-end outcomes.
