Job summary

San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance is seeking an Admissions Clerk to promote and process admission tickets, memberships and premium products while delivering excellent guest service at the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park.

The role supports the mission by upselling options, handling transactions accurately, and assisting guests with directions and information in a dynamic environment. This hourly, part-time position reports to the Lead Admissions Clerk or Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Sells admission tickets, memberships and premium products and upsells where appropriate.
• Provides guest service by greeting guests and offering directions and information.
• Checks forms of admission, IDs, and maintains attendance counts.
• Troubleshoots membership and ticket concerns and elevates issues when needed.
• Responds to guest inquiries and refers questions to the appropriate team.
