Job summary

Michaels in Louisville, KY is seeking a Store Associate to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the store while delivering friendly customer service. You will be responsible for cleaning duties, stocking, and assisting customers throughout the shift, ensuring a safe and welcoming shopping environment.

The role supports omni-channel processes and adheres to SOPs, with opportunities to participate in rewards programs and team initiatives within a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• Retail or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of store cleanliness and recovery to support brand promises.
• Collect, dispose of trash, and dust/damp mop floors according to procedures.
• Deep clean key areas including bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways and stock areas.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and assist with rewards programs (if applicable).
• Assist with put-away, stocking and planogram processes as needed.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; notify supervisor of supply needs.
