Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in similar position of 3 months or longer.
• Fluent in oral and written English.

Responsibilities

• Greets and takes food and drink orders from restaurant customers, serving the orders and accommodating special needs/requests.
• Remains attentive to the customers throughout the dining experience, adhering to service standards.
• Completes restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing sidework as instructed.
• Memorizes menu items and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintains cleanliness in restaurant, waitstation and kitchen service areas to satisfy health standards.
• Processes guest checks accurately and handles payments.
• Attends pre-meal and departmental meetings to stay informed on products and service.
• Responds to customer inquiries and provides timely information to ensure quality service.
