Job summary

Sage Restaurant Group is seeking a friendly server to provide prompt, courteous food service to restaurant guests in Alexandria, VA. You will greet customers, take orders, and deliver meals with attentiveness in a fast-paced dining room.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and take food and drink orders from customers, serving items as requested.
• Provide attentive service throughout the dining experience and follow standards.
• Complete restocking and cleaning duties during opening/closing sidework.
• Memorize menu items to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant, waitstation and service areas.
• Ensure accuracy of guest checks and payment method.
• Attend pre-meal and department meetings to stay informed.
• Respond to customer inquiries with timely, knowledgeable information.
