Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Thrive Restaurant Group is hiring a Server to create memorable experiences by serving food and drinks and attending to guests' needs. You’ll help guests feel welcome, make menu recommendations, and ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly.

In this role you’ll greet guests, relay orders, maintain a friendly dining environment, and assist with clearing and resetting tables.

Qualifications

• Ability to move and stay mobile during shifts.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to lift and move items as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and drinks and ongoing service to guests.
• Greet guests, answer questions and make suggestions.
• Interact with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via POS system.
• Observe and serve guests, present checks, and handle payments.
• Participate in clearing and resetting dining area.
