Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver world class service and meet sales goals in a fast-paced retail setting. You will greet customers, understand needs, demonstrate products, and process payments at the POS while keeping shelves stocked and the floor clean.

You will follow the G.U.E.S.T. service approach, build loyalty, and maintain professional appearance. Training is provided for product knowledge, POS systems, and store procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in specialty retail is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient in using POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Professional conduct and attire in compliance with dress code.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome every customer warmly and with enthusiasm.
• Understand customer needs by asking open-ended questions.
• Explain product features and benefits in relation to the customers’ needs by providing in-depth product knowledge.
• Suggest additional items to build onto sales by utilizing effective selling techniques.
• Thank the customer sincerely and invite them to return and shop with us again.
• Be a TPS brand ambassador and build customer loyalty through friendly, attentive service.
• Maintain a positive work environment with ethical behavior and honest communication.
• Support all sales efforts across channels to maximize company sales.
• Capture accurate customer information at the POS and process transactions correctly.
• Maintain store cleanliness and follow visual merchandising guidelines.
• After training, perform ear piercings and provide safe, sanitary experiences where allowed.
