Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top-notch guest experiences and support store operations. You will greet customers, operate the POS, stock shelves, and maintain cleanliness while following safety and policy guidelines.

Flexibility for day/night/weekend/holiday shifts is required, with basic computer skills and reliable transportation. Physical duties include lifting up to 25 lbs and accessing all store areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Availability for day, night, weekend or holiday shifts.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures outside and inside.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all store areas and assist customers.
• Accurate counting, reading and writing for paperwork.
• Support onboarding and training for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the POS pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conducts gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
