Job summary

The Adventure Park in Virginia Beach is seeking Park Hosts to greet guests and provide park information with a friendly, professional demeanor. You will support ticket sales, reservations, and group events on-site, helping guests enjoy a seamless visit.

You may assist in retail, inventory, and upkeep, and help set up events or birthdays as needed. This hourly, seasonal role offers paid training and a flexible schedule for part-time availability.

Qualifications

• Friendly disposition and professional demeanor at all times.
• Strong communication skills and a patient approach with guests.
• Reliability with a strong work ethic and personal integrity.
• Passion for working outdoors and ability to handle all weather conditions.
• Experience in travel/tourism, service, retail or hospitality preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an amazing experience and answer questions.
• Greet and check in guests, provide park information and directions.
• Process ticket sales, reschedules, and credits per policy.
• Assist groups and birthday parties with advance reservations.
• Handle retail sales and inventory management.
• Manage guests during weather closures and park events.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and keep areas clean.
• Assist in event setup and coordination as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of retail and staff areas; assist with maintenance tasks.
• Assist with harnessing guests and inventory of equipment.
• Cross-train for Owl Creek Landing shifts when needed.
