Job summary

Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum in Denver is seeking a Guest Services Associate to welcome visitors from entrance to exit and support daily operations in a busy museum environment.

As the public face of the organization, you will greet guests, sell tickets and memberships, operate POS systems, and assist with merchandise while maintaining a high standard of guest service. Flexible schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months cashier experience and/or guest experience
• Conversational Spanish or other language proficiency highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication and time management skills
• Positive personality with exceptional customer service
• Working knowledge and proficiency with basic computer software applications
• Ability to communicate effectively in noisy, crowded, or stressful situations
• Self-motivated and capable of working individually and on a team
• Able to walk large showroom space and stand for extended periods
• Must be able to push/pull/squat/carry/lift 25+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors including members, guests, groups, and vendors
• Represent Wings Over the Rockies in a welcoming, energetic manner
• Sell tickets for simulators and promote memberships
• Promote events, memberships, and exhibits
• Maintain a professional appearance and report irregularities
• Assist with maintaining the retail store and restock merchandise
• Operate POS systems and reconcile cash at end of shift
• Ensure rides and facilities operate properly and address issues promptly
