Job summary

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot in Whitehall Township is seeking a Food Runner/Busser to bridge the dining room and kitchen, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience in a high-energy setting.

You will greet guests, answer menu questions, assist with side work, reset tables quickly, and coordinate with the kitchen on allergy orders while delivering world-class service near grills and hot cooking surfaces.

• Comfortable working around grills and hot cooking surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly and warmly upon arrival (as per role).
• Answer guest questions regarding the menu and KPOT brand.
• Provide accurate information regarding menu, pricing, hours, promotions, and policies.
• Listen attentively to guests to ensure their needs are met.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Observe and monitor table turnover by noting occupancy and cleanliness.
• Support the front-of-house team in resetting tables quickly to seamlessly transition tables to guests.
• Inform management of large parties, special requests, or guest concerns.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and management regarding allergy orders.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, hospitality-focused attitude at all times.
• Multi-task between bar and dining room orders.
• Be a team player and assist others to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
