Job summary

Panera Bread in Auburn, AL seeks a Restaurant Team Member to be the heart of hospitality. You’ll greet guests warmly, assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches, and assist across multiple stations while keeping a clean, safe dining area. You’ll support a fast-paced team and contribute to a welcoming bakery-cafe experience.

You are 16+ with good communication, reliable attendance, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends. Food safety basics and a compliant attitude are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Clear communication with guests, managers and teammates in a loud environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Basic food safety understanding and training as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Execute duties across Production, Prep, Service, Cashier, Expo, Drive-Thru, Barista, Guest Experience Champion, QC, etc.
• Greet every guest with genuine warmth and enthusiasm.
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care and accuracy.
• Stay on the move assisting guests at entry, cashier and dining areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, inviting environment following safety standards.
• Complete cleaning and stocking duties and help set up the next shift.
