Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Store Associate to be at the heart of the guest experience, helping keep our stores clean, stocked, and running smoothly. Whether you want part-time flexibility or a full-time career, you’ll gain valuable skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

As a Store Associate you will deliver exceptional guest service at the register or self-checkout, suggest additional products, and help keep shelves stocked while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• Team player with initiative and good communication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• May need food handler or alcohol server permits depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and teammates with a smile and respond promptly to requests.
• Provide friendly service at the register or self-checkout.
• Restock shelves and ensure product availability and freshness.
• Maintain store cleanliness and follow safety regulations in food prep areas.
• Assist in inventory management and merchandising tasks.
• Uphold cash-handling policies and ensure accurate transactions.
• Elevate guest concerns to management when needed.
