Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top-notch guest experiences and support store operations in New York. You will greet guests, operate the POS, handle housekeeping, replenish stock, and assist with vendor coordination.

The role requires flexibility to work day, night, weekends, and holidays, plus the ability to count, read, and write accurately for paperwork. Safety, security and quality standards are emphasized in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work day, night, weekends or holidays.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures/outdoors.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Access to all store areas including selling floor, stock, and register.
• Accurate counting, reading and writing for paperwork.
• Support onboarding for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality, and store operations policies.
• Operate the POS according to corporate standards; manage cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Perform all store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products ensuring in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may only use OSHA-approved knives.
