Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions and resolve concerns in a polite, professional manner.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash register; bag merchandise and assist customers.
• Ensure accurate transactions and proper cash handling; follow tobacco/alcohol sale guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads and store layout to assist customers.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness; comply with health and OSHA requirements.
• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to keep department and store functioning smoothly.
• Wear and use provided PPE as required.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
