Job summary

Weis Markets in Palmyra, PA is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to greet customers, answer questions and help resolve concerns while following store policies and procedures. You will operate the front-end register, bag merchandise, maintain department cleanliness, and follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment.

You will work with coworkers to provide a positive customer experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and resolves questions in a polite, professional manner.
• Operates front-end scanning equipment and cash register, bags merchandise, and handles checkout procedures.
• Maintains accuracy of transactions and follows cash handling and security procedures, including tobacco/alcohol restrictions.
• Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, promotions, and store layout to assist customers.
• Keeps department areas clean and meets health and OSHA guidelines; disposes of trash properly.
• Cooperates with coworkers to ensure smooth department and store operations; uses PPE as required.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
