Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Guest Service Representative to join the team at Aloft Chicago O'Hare. You will greet guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and help create a welcoming, efficient front desk experience.

The role requires at least 1 year in front desk operations, solid communication skills, and basic computer proficiency. You will handle guest inquiries, maintain a tidy front desk, and support lobby activation as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in Front Desk Operations.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations.
• Minimum of High School education.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival with personal recognition.
• Review arrival lists and prepare welcome amenities.
• Escort VIPs to rooms and check them in prior to arrival.
• Answer phones within three rings with a smile and route inquiries as needed.
• Count and handle cash; ensure proper cash handling procedures.
• Keep front desk area clean and organized.
• Assist with lobby activation as needed.
• Protect guest PII data and follow privacy procedures.
• Adhere to check-in/check-out procedures with valid ID and payment.
