Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate in Massachusetts to deliver top-notch guest experiences and support store operations. You will greet shoppers, assist with inquiries, and uphold safety and quality standards on the selling floor.

Responsibilities include operating the POS, performing housekeeping, replenishing stock, and communicating guest needs to management. This role may involve vendor checks and inventory tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, outside or in cooler environments.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Perform duties of the job in a timely manner.
• Ability to count, read, and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Support GSA new hire onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale per corporate standards; manage cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in‑stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
