Job summary

Biltmore Estate in Asheville is seeking a Trolley Driver to deliver world-class guest service while operating shuttles between parking areas and estate destinations. You will respond to guest inquiries about Asheville, Biltmore, and Western North Carolina.

Shifts are typically 6 or 8 hours, 8am-4:30pm or 3pm-11:30pm, and weekend/holiday availability is required. A North Carolina CDL with Class P endorsement is required to perform these duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• North Carolina CDL with Class P endorsement required.
• At least 1 year in guest service or related field preferred.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and operate vehicles safely.
• Ability to explain local area information to guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide world class guest service with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Operate shuttles/trolleys between parking and estate destinations.
• Use two-way radio to communicate with staff.
• Maintain parking area cleanliness and count.
• Assist guests boarding vehicles and accommodate mobility needs.
• Be knowledgeable about Asheville, Biltmore, and Western NC.
• Execute emergency procedures when needed.
• Complete pre/post trip vehicle reports and track maintenance.
