Job summary

The Trolley Driver at Biltmore Estate Transportation provides world-class guest service while operating shuttles and trolleys between parking areas and estate destinations. You will answer questions about Asheville and Western North Carolina and support the department and company as needed.

Shifts are typically 6–8 hours, with 8am–4:30pm or 3pm–11:30pm windows. Availability on weekends and holidays is required, and NC CDL Class P endorsement is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a North Carolina Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Class “P” endorsement to operate shuttles and trolleys.
• High school diploma (or GED); First Aid, CPR, AED certification preferred.
• At least one year of related guest contact/service experience, preferable in an upscale hotel/resort/attraction environment.
• Ability to quickly acquire extensive knowledge of Biltmore history, products and services, the Asheville area, and Western North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Operates shuttles/trolleys between parking areas and estate destinations.
• Provides world class guest service and answers questions about Asheville, Biltmore and Western NC.
• Ensures safety procedures are followed and vehicle pre/post trip reports are completed.
