Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group is seeking a guest-focused Food Server for C. Baldwin, a Curio Collection by Hilton property in Houston. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals and maintain service standards to ensure a memorable dining experience.

We value initiative, teamwork and reliability. The role requires basic cash handling, strong English communication and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in similar position of 3 months or longer.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
• Vision to read guest checks and operate in dim lighting.
• Ability to lift and carry trays and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets and takes food and drink orders from restaurant customers, serving the orders and accommodating special needs/requests.
• Maintains attentiveness to customers throughout the dining experience, adhering to service standards.
• Completes restocking and cleaning duties including opening/closing sidework.
• Memorizes menu items, recipes and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintains cleanliness in restaurant, waitstation and kitchen service areas to meet health standards.
• Processes guest checks accurately and handles payments securely.
• Attends pre-meal and departmental meetings to stay informed.
• Responds to customer inquiries with timely information and friendly service.
• Keeps a clean and professional appearance and demeanor.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
