Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Ybor Historic District is hiring for a Restaurant Server. Coury Hospitality invites enthusiastic hospitality professionals to join our team, delivering warm welcomes, accurate orders, and memorable experiences for guests in a fast-paced hotel dining setting.

You will learn the menu, explain ingredients, take and enter orders into the POS, and collaborate with hosts, bartenders, culinary Curators, and leaders to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hotel, full-service restaurant, or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Hilton brand experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and guest-service skills.
• Ability to learn menus, ingredients, and POS systems.
• Ability to process payments accurately.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and ensure a warm dining experience.
• Learn menu details and explain ingredients and options.
• Take orders accurately and input into POS promptly.
• Make recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Serve food and beverages according to standards.
• Monitor tables, anticipate needs, and stay calm during busy periods.
• Check orders for accuracy, temp, and presentation.
• Handle payments and close transactions accurately.
• Communicate clearly with teammates and leaders.
• Maintain clean, organized dining areas and stations.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties.
• Assist with room-service or banquet as needed.
• Share information about the hotel and local area.
• Support the team during peak service with professionalism.
