Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC is seeking a server to provide prompt and courteous food and beverage service in a restaurant setting in Starkville, MS. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

Candidates should have 3–6 months of F&B experience, a High School education or equivalent, and TIPs certification. The role emphasizes guest relations, accuracy in payments, and a friendly, professional appearance.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Three to six months experience in a food/beverage services environment.
• TIPs certification required.
• Must read, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and take food and drink orders, deliver orders, and accommodate special requests.
• Assist with opening/closing side-work and restocking duties.
• Memorize menu items and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining, wait-station, and service areas to meet health standards.
• Handle payments and ensure accuracy of guest checks and payment methods.
• Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings to improve product knowledge and service quality.
• Present a clean, professional appearance and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
