Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality is seeking a Server/Guest Experience Ambassador in New Carlisle, IN. This role delivers a best-in-class dining experience to residents, colleagues, and guests by ensuring exemplary service, across part-time and full-time shifts.

The position runs in a fast-paced dining environment with exposure to kitchen equipment. A high school diploma and prior food service and customer service experience are required, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food service.
• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Cascade a spirit of Hospitality in all dealings with residents, colleagues and guests.
• Leads service of food or beverages to residents and prepares or serves specialty diets as required.
• Engages with residents to obtain desired orders for food or beverages while articulating the daily menu offerings.
• Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
• Ensure residents are satisfied with all aspects of service and communicate issues to supervisor.
• Check residents diets, likes and dislikes to ensure requirements are met.
• Assist with setup/breakdown of all scheduled meal periods.
• Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens as needed.
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, tidying service station, clearing tables and taking out trash.
• May wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, or other cooking equipment.
