Job summary

Jama Investments in Hammond, WI is seeking a friendly part-time server to guide guests through the menu, take accurate orders, and deliver attentive service.

You will greet guests, use the POS, handle payments, verify IDs, and support the team during busy shifts. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Prior serving experience preferred; alcohol-service certification may be required. Training provided and friendly team environment await.

Qualifications

• 1+ year serving experience in tavern or full-service restaurant.
• Valid alcohol-service certification where required by state or local law.
• Knowledge of menu, beer, wine, and cocktails; training provided.
• Friendly, attentive, able to multitask under pressure.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb and be on their feet for 8 hours or more per shift.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, and provide informed recommendations.
• Take and enter orders accurately on the POS; communicate special requests and allergies.
• Deliver food and beverages, check back on tables, and pre-bus.
• Process payments and handle tickets with accuracy.
• Verify IDs and follow all responsible alcohol-service practices.
• Support team with side work, opening/closing duties, and silverware rolling.
