Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality through Rand Tower Hotel is seeking a customer-focused Restaurant Server to join the team in Minneapolis. You will be the face of the restaurant, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience from welcome to bill presentation.

Responsibilities include pre-shift prep, greeting guests, guiding culinary choices, accurate order taking, and collaborating with kitchen/bar staff. A passion for hospitality and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of food service experience.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
• Engaging and welcoming personality.
• Descriptive and sales-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant pre-shift for the service ahead.
• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant.
• Guide guests on their culinary journey through descriptive selling of the menu.
• Be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests.
• Be the master of the menu, understanding the details to enhance the conversation.
• Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy.
• Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation.
