Job summary

Dineamic Hospitality in Chicago’s River North collection (Barrio, Prime & Provisions, NAIA, Siena Tavern) seeks servers for fast-paced, high-volume, full-service environments. You will provide attentive, knowledgeable service, using menu knowledge and allergen awareness to tailor guest experiences.

Collaborate with bartenders and support staff to ensure seamless service, guide guest selections, and promote the restaurant rewards program when appropriate.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years serving experience in a full-service restaurant required.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service fundamentals.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol per state law (if applicable).
• Valid alcohol service certification and food service certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe).

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to guests from greeting through farewell.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, including allergens, and guide guest selections.
• Enter orders into the POS system and manage pacing of courses.
• Monitor table progress and anticipate guest needs.
• Collaborate with support staff, kitchen, and bar teams for seamless service.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure presentation standards.
• Encourage guests to join the rewards program and engage with guest initiatives.
• Process guest payments accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining section and complete side work.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service standards and comply with regulations.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate to management when needed.
• Follow company policies and sanitation guidelines; contribute to team morale.
• May be assigned to private dining or events with appropriate review of BEOs.
