Job summary

NAIA at DineAmic Hospitality is seeking a professional host to deliver warm welcomes and seamless guest flow in a fast-paced setting along the Chicago River. You will manage reservations, waitlists, and walk-ins, quote accurate wait times, and coordinate seating to optimize service efficiency.

The role requires strong communication, composure under pressure, and a commitment to hospitality. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is expected in a vibrant, full-service environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant host or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with a guest reservation platform and POS system preferred; OpenTable and Toast strongly preferred.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage reservations, waitlists, and walk-ins.
• Quote wait times accurately and seat guests to balance service flow.
• Answer phones, assist with reservations, carryout orders, and inquiries.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and lobby areas.
• Encourage guests to join the rewards program and assist with guest engagement.
