Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group Career Center is seeking an Outback-themed team member in California to provide friendly, prompt service and deliver a memorable dining experience.

You will use product knowledge to upsell, assist guests with selections, and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. This position offers opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to sell alcohol.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments.
• Able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Able to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• California Beverage Service Certification required within 60 days after start date.

Responsibilities

• Exceed customer expectations by providing friendly, prompt and attentive service guided by guest preferences.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu, confidently up-sell and assist guests with selections.
• Prepare food and condiments adhering to Outback standards.
• Ensure accurate guest orders and deliver a satisfying experience; bus tables and deliver food/beverages; support teamwork.
• Maintain high standards in food safety, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately; support all areas of the restaurant as needed.
