Job summary

Proper Hospitality is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented Food & Beverage Server to join our Palm Springs team. You will greet guests, take and deliver orders, upsell daily specials, and ensure accuracy in billing. The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, teamwork, and maintaining a clean dining environment in a fast‑paced setting.

Prior hospitality experience and strong communication are essential. A high school diploma is required, and ServSafe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, ingredients, and prep methods.
• ServSafe certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and explain specials.
• Take accurate orders, note dietary needs, and upsell items.
• Serve meals and beverages timely with accuracy and presentation.
• Answer questions about items, ingredients, and preparation.
• Maintain a clean dining area and reset tables for new guests.
• Process payments and handle cash, cards, and tips.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
• Assist in training new servers and support team members as needed.
