Job summary

Bootleggers Food & Drink in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a friendly server to provide attentive service for 5-7 tables per shift. You will greet guests, take orders, and input them into Aloha POS to relay details to the kitchen.

You’ll retrieve orders, deliver meals, check guest satisfaction, and uphold state liquor laws. A high-energy, courteous, and professional demeanor is essential, along with the ability to stand and carry trays for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Valid Food Worker Card required.
• Must have one year of professional serving experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Must be highly energetic and have a high sense of urgency.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items.
• Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explains specials/promotions.
• Takes the order and inputs the order into Aloha POS to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order.
• Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy and delivers it to guests.
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
